We are very proud of you and wish you great success in your new job. It will undoubtably be a huge challenge to learn all that is required but we have every confidence in you. You are a very gifted young lady and will rise to the challenge, even when it is in Spanish.

Boleh, can. But now it is grammatically incorrect. Which, the longer I stay in this country, ceases to trouble me.

Ha ha! No! Just “Business Development” Its my department and my job title (which should fix the grammar problem too).
*Although my boss is definitely the boss, he feels the word “assistant” would take away from the overall authority of my position and may affect a client’s confidence.
Smart eh? Good for me!
