On Monday morning, Pam will be heading by bus to Singapore to spend a few days in the Trans World Radio office. She is very excited about the prospect of meeting the team members and seeing first hand the work that goes on there to support Women of Hope in Asia. Steve will be going down at the end of the week to enjoy some R&R in Singapore and we will travel back on the overnight train together.
We would ask that you pray for Pam as she makes this important connection with her ministry partners. This is such a valuable work in many needy countries in the Far East.

Hi Pam and Steve,
wow Pam, that is exciting that you get to Singapore to meet the women in that ministry. I especially like the name of the project =D.
I will be praying for your travels and all the things that God will teach you there.
I have reached Calgary and will be starting on campus in a little over a week.
God bless,
Hannah

Cold ,wet Ontario morning, with just a hint of the Fall that is just over the next hill. Soon the trees will be putting on their colors and making the landscape look like a Group of Seven painting.
We have you at one end of the world and my youngest daughter, Heather at the other. She and her husband (who is an RCMP Constable) were transferred this summer to Tuktoyaktuck, up in the Western Arctic, on the shore of the Beaufort Sea. Heather is expecting a second baby, due in October. Her plan is to come back here to Kingston for the birth and then stay for a few week before going back to where (by then) the sun will be gone for a month or two and the temperature will head down to the mid -50 F. So I have family at both ends of the spectrum. No drnking out of coconuts up North. But then you miss out on muk-tuk (whale meat ) and Arctic Char.
Love… Archie.
